Why the silence?

My astute friend Cileia recently proposed 2 reasons for a blog to remain silent - the author is doing nothing worth writing about, or the author is doing too many things to find the time to write. In the 12 days since my last post, i can say the latter has definitely been true for me! Here's a selection of what i've been doing to pass the time...
  • Riding around Bangkok in a Tuk-Tuk wearing a bright orange flowery shirt
  • Spraying hundreds of people with a water gun
  • Walking through a sea of people, having white powder rubbed all over my face
  • (all of the above were to celebrate the Thai New Year, or 'Songkran', Festival
  • Showing my parents & God-Mum the wonders of Bangkok
  • Spending 4 relaxing days on the beautiful island of Koh Samui
  • Arranging interviews to select the team who will work with me next year to coordinate AIESEC activities in Western Europe & Northa America
  • Starting to prepare my successor, Suchith, for his year in Thailand
  • Talking to more people interested to be in the National team of AIESEC in Thailand next year
  • Supporting student members here as they attend their first sales meetings
  • Celebrating the birthday of my dear friend Weaw (twice in fact!)
  • Taking my first salsa class in Bangkok (i'm the only guy in the group!)
  • Looking for new laptops (does anyone own a Vaio? I'm thinking of getting one)
  • Chatting with my darlings - Aine, Bee, Zuzi, and that MCP from Venezuela ;)
  • Enjoying deliciously fresh pineapple, mango, guava and coconut
  • Watching the Red Devils maintain their lead of the Premier League, and take a slim lead over Milan in the Champions League Semi
  • Going to the gym and the pool to get back in shape for the European summer ;)
  • Wishing that this part of the adventure didn't have to end so soon, while at the same time being impatient about the next part starting...

Photos to follow soon, when i'm not about to fall asleep on my keyboard...
Good night x

It's ok not to read a new post every day, as long as I know that you are doing great! Just enjoy your last few months in Asia....looking forward to seeing you back in Europe!

Point number 16!
You might have one hand on the title... but one hand is still not both hands on the red-ribbon trophy!!!
Mathematically... that trophy might still retain its blue ribbons of the last 2 seasons! Until its no longer possible mathematically...

I know you havent written us off yet. Bad enough you are going to lose the first FA cup in the new Wembley (Bu haha ahahahaha)

hey man. i don't own a vaio but i definitely recommend against buying one. they are overpriced, the hardware is cheap (sony is not known for making good computer hardware and God knows where they source it) and they provide a shithouse warranty (1 year local, not good enough). people who buy vaios are only buying for the brand (which isnt a recognised computer brand, just electronics) and the look (which is nice, i admit).

if you're mac averse like me, i recommend you look at the established laptop manufacturers like Toshiba, NEC, Compaq... or the cheaper Acer, Asus, Samsung...
