... arguing about immigration, and sarcasm.
While browsing the BBC News website, as i often do, i came across the following comment, posted by someone known only as JJ (referring to the debate over whether/how to limit immigration from Bulgaria & Romania when they join the EU):
"1.You want them to join the EU, but you don't want them to have the same rights as you.
2.You go get drunk and trash their resorts but you don't want to hear foreign language on the 'Tube'.
3.You export your products and services in their countries, but you don't want them to come and work here.
4.You go and buy properties and land in their countries, but you don't want them renting houses here because fuels the BTL market and house prices go up.
Sounds all fair to me..."

at the moment globalization seems to be a bit of a one-sided process. at least that's my perception of it.

did you see what Briatore said earlier this week about how he had brought Alonso to F1 to be the anti-Schumi and now he has a new wonder kid to be the anti-Alonso?! grr!
