Back on the Blog
It's been a while...
Very cool few weeks though since my last posting.
First we had Team Days next to the lake in Neuchâtel. Very windy but very picturesque. We had lots of laughs together as well as doing some intense work, and we even found time for a Bollywood movie :o)
Next there was ACT, my team's first National Conference together. Really enjoyed preparing the sessions and having some very interesting discussions with members. Thanks to everyone who attended for making such a nice atmosphere!
Then I was packing my bags again, this time for Croatia. Beautiful country, very friendly people. Was facilitating a conference for 168 LCPs from 33 countries across Europe. Worked with an awesome faci team, and the Chair was the funniest, craziest, most energetic Swiss person I've met so far! We basically had to put the conference together in 3 days, so as you can imagine we didn't get too much sleep for the whole week, but still it was an amazing conference, I will definitely remember it for a long time. The highlight was definitely going with my group of delegates down to the beach on the last night, with red wine and candles. Beautiful atmosphere, interesting discussions, inspiring people. Times like that i really love my job :o) Once i get the time to play about a bit more with this blogging thing i'll publish a photo showing the view from the balcony of my hotel room...
Last week was not so good as i somehow managed to put my back out. For 12 hours i was pretty much not able to move, then had to spend 4 days not really leaving my bed. Still at least I had someone very special to nurse me back to full health :o) Even if it did give him extra reason to nag that i don't get enough exercise. Still I now have a bike, already made my 1st trip tonight along the Aare. So I guess I will either become super-fit in the next 2 weeks or end up completely crippled... we'll have to wait and see.
